Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find precise information about this extraordinary set. Since this set is also listed in the collector's catalog WarnerBook, it can be proven to have been produced by Swarovski. This unique set was apparently produced by Swarovski for Artfides for World Youth Day 2004 in Cologne in a small quantity of 100 sets. The prototype of this set was presented to the then Pope Ratzinger. Since this set is a special production commissioned by Artfides, it bears the Artfides logo and not the Swarovski logo. This special edition of the nativity scene consists of the figures: Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus, presented on a black wooden plate.
