This is the 2nd edition of the SCS Annual Figurine from Swarovski. The 1st edition, The Lovebirds 1987, was only available in English-speaking regions. The first edition of The Woodpeckers from 1988, which was then available worldwide, came in two variations: one with a frosted base and later with a clear base. Because many collectors could not directly see the Swarovski logo through the frosted base, a second version with a clear base was launched in the course of 1988. Since the packaging is also over 36 years old (!), it also shows natural signs of wear.
We also have the Woodpeckers without the original packaging, but these will be very securely packed to ensure nothing happens during shipping.
